A young elephant named Sunder was donated to India's Jyotiba temple by a member of the Legislative Assembly. Since his arrival years ago, Jyotiba's handler has been keeping him in a dark shed with barbed chains confining his ankles. The chains prevent the elephant from taking even one step. Sunder is all alone and suffers abuse from his handler. The elephant has suffered an eye injury from being stabbed with an ankus (a sharp, hooked weapon similar to a poker). I can't believe what the fashion industry has turned out to be! It's despicable, cruel and heart breakingly inhuman! All for the sake of a few fur coats! This came up suddenly but I'm moving to a new account O_O When I first came here I thought this was going to be first and last account but I guess I was wrong. I find it hard to manage my main art, side art, contest entries and requests on the same account and its all tangled up in one big knot I can't remove :( so I'll be shifting my main art little by little gradually to a new account which I will be active on. However this account will still remain for other works. So I can balance out my thought/emotions (literature/poetry) and hobbies/extras (other art) equally.
